Parent Engagement Specialists support assigned schools by working closely with school system staff, parents/families, community groups and business partners to support effective teaching and learning. Ms. Mirna Flores is our Parent Engagement Specialist.

 

Community School Coordinators facilitate and provide leadership for the collaborative process and development of a continuum of services for children, families and community members within a school neighborhood. Ms. Ivana Fields is our Community Schools Coordinator.

 

Pupil Personnel Workers serve as liaisons from the school to maintain a positive home-school connection; as advocates to support student rights and responsibilities; as consultants to school administration, school staff and parents on issues such as attendance, discipline, residency, counseling, and crisis intervention; and as a referral source for students and families to school-based and community resources.
